The protection of Users' personal data is a main concern to 1000MIKES. Therefore, 1000MIKES has put all technical and organizational actions into operation, in compliance with privacy terms regulations.
1. Basic principles during processing of Users' personal data.
1000MIKES complies with the following basic principles in reference to the protection of Users' personal data.
Personal data is collected, processed and utilized by 1000MIKES pursuant to the German Data Protection Act as well as the Privacy Policies of the European Union.
1000MIKES only exploits personal data to render utilization of the 1000MIKES internet platform. In no event whatsoever, does 1000MIKES make personal data or any other information available to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes, unless explicitly requested by the User.
The Users are free to decide which data they care to release to other Users.
As far as necessary and in individual cases, 1000MIKES may forward the personal data of a registered member to a third party, if 1000MIKES can prove that the entered content of a registered member has infringed upon their industrial property rights (copyrights, trademark rights or ancillary copyrights as well as other incorporate chattels).
2. Registration at 1000MIKES
For registration at 1000MIKES, certain personal User data is mandatory and will be processed. However, unless the User gives his or her explicit consent, this information remains invisible to other Users and only serves for the User's registration.
3. Profile Data
1000MIKES allows the User to enter and present his or her own interests as well as additional data in his or her profile. This information is optional. The User decides which data he or she would like to make available to other Users.
During registration at 1000MIKES, so-called cookies will be implemented, serving the identification of the User (registration status). The cookies implemented will be deleted when the User logs out.
Should the User select preferred audio replay software, this information will be stored in a cookie.
5. Log Files
When the User accesses the 1000MIKES site, this access data will be stored on the 1000MIKES server. 1000MIKES draws on these logs in an anonymous manner for statistical evaluation (whereas no allocation to the respective User takes place), for causal research in the case of fault and where allocation could become necessary in individual cases.

8. Rights of Withdrawal
You are entitled to withdraw your consent concerning data processing and utilization at any time for future affect. Should you care to withdraw your consent, please be so kind and send us a brief e-mail including your User name and e-mail address to email@example.com. We will immediately and completely delete your personal data; with the exception of justified cases of misuse/abuse.
9. Alterations of the Privacy Terms
In the event of alterations of the Privacy Terms, 1000MIKES will inform the Users via e-mail. A hardcopy or download of 1000MIKES' Privacy Terms is possible at any time.
